Supernature: Video Wallpaper. |
| Supernature is the studio of NYC-based artist and motion designer Sean Capone. The studio is a platform from which to explore aesthetic applications of the moving image in the context of the built environment. Viewing video as a contemporary form of architectural ornamentation, and in response to what can only be described as an architectural encounter with modern urban media screens, my practice uses digital image and animation production to create multiscalar works that are contemplative, experiential, and offer a comment on the 'nature' of media, art, design, craft and technology. Since its inception, the studio has created numerous projects for installation, film, web, broadcast, and print, and maintains a collaborative practice with a variety of architectural, fashion, art, music and advertising agencies. |
